Your entries stay on your device

Spendrix keeps your entries, accounts, people, budgets and photos on your phone or computer. You don't need an account to use it. There are no ads and no trackers, and the app sends no usage stats.

The AI helper runs on your device

The first time you use the helper, Spendrix downloads the model file from Hugging Face. After that, your voice, photos and typed questions are handled on your device and never sent anywhere.

Sync is optional

If you turn on sync, you sign in with Google. Spendrix locks your entries on your device before they leave it, then stores the locked copy in Google Firebase. The key that unlocks them is kept in a hidden Spendrix folder in your own Google Drive, so only your devices can read your entries. We can't read them.

What Spendrix does with your Google account

When you sign in, Spendrix asks Google for:

Spendrix can't see your other Drive files. It doesn't sell, share or use your Google data for ads, and it uses it only to run sync for you. Spendrix's use of information received from Google APIs follows the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

Deleting your data

In the app's Settings, tap Delete account. That removes the locked copy from Firebase and the key from your Drive, and closes the sync account. Uninstalling the app removes everything on that device.

Updates

The app checks GitHub for a newer version. That request carries no personal data.
